Scout It Out - Sonder Goods

Has anyone here ever been to any of the Unique LA local goods markets? They have some really…well…unique stuff. It’s all handmade by local folks and the stuff you find is way more interesting than some of the crap out there in the world. Anyway, I hit up the Unique LA pop up at Platform in Culver City last weekend and gravitated to the Sonder Goods table. The candles they sell make great gifts. The scents are fresh and original, not fake-y flower smells. I love the Cold Spring candle. It’s a blend of lavender, bergamot and rosemary. It’s the kind of scent you want your house to smell like so when people come over they’re like “wow your house smells amazing” and it validates you as a person (oh like you’ve never had house smell pride before). The best part is that they come in these great hand-made ceramic pots that can be reused as a flower vase, pen cup, decorative whatever. It’s a two-fer. So I got one to give as a gift and then treated myself to one of their roll-on scented oils. I use it as a perfume by just rolling a little of it on to my hands and combing my hands through my hair. It’s subtle and earthy (ha just like me). They sell jewelry too. Check ‘em out.
