Laura Maffeo

Laura Maffeo began her career in Los Angeles as a Set Dresser and Decorator for television and film.  After relocating to New York City in 1997, she decided to switch gears and move into print and editorial work.  By 2000, she was working steadily as a freelance stylist and market editor focusing on home, lifestyle and tabletop products.

She has co-written a series of books on wedding style called One-of-a-Kind Weddings (Creative Publishing International. 2008).  She has also written an entertaining book entitled “Girls’ Night In” (Ryland Peters and Small. 2006), presenting fun and decidedly feminine ideas for home entertaining.

Laura currently works as a stylist and contributor for books and magazines.  Her clients include Colin Cowie, Martha Stewart Weddings, Home, Seventeen, Lifetime, Family Circle Home Crafts, Vogue Knitting, Vera Bradley, Time Inc. and Everyday with Rachel Ray.  She has contributed to books for Soho Publishing Company, Chronicle Books and The Stonesong Press.
